Lauren Braun, LPC, hosts a virtual workshop for anyone impacted by the heavy weight of grief that comes with fertility challenges as well as pregnancy and infant loss. The heartache that comes with these topics is present year-round, but can become more intense during the holidays, especially the Advent and Christmas seasons. As the Church prepares for the birth of our Lord, singing, “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” can be extremely emotional for those with empty wombs and arms. In this workshop, Lauren will create a space to hold these heavy crosses with others in solidarity as well as offer ways to cope throughout the holiday season.
Lauren will be presenting from an integrated lens of psychology, mental health, and the Catholic faith. Participants do not need to be Catholic to join, all are welcome!
