FAQ

  • Do you take insurance?

At this time, I accept self-pay only. By not accepting insurance, I am able to prioritize your privacy, individualized treatment, and my own financial security. However, I am aware that insurance can be incredibly helpful to accessing care. In order to account for this, I lowered my session rates and can provide a “superbill” that can be presented to your insurance company for reimbursement depending on your out-of-network benefits. I am also able to accept HSA or FSA cards for eligible services.

  • When and where do we have therapy?

When beginning therapy, I typically meet with clients on a weekly basis to build rapport and create goals for treatment. After the first month of meeting weekly, we can move session to be every other week if we both agree it would be appropriate to do so. I meet with all clients virtually using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

  • I don't live in Wisconsin. Can I start therapy with you?

Unfortunately, I am only accepting clients in Wisconsin at this time. I do hope to expand my licensure to cover other states in the coming year, and will share in my newsletter if and when this happens. Until then, please feel free to contact me if you are looking for a therapist in another state, and I will do my best to help you find a good fit!
